Tyler and Brynn

It has been so fun watching Tyler get into the holiday spirit this year. He was a big help in decorating the house and putting up the tree. He absolutely loves wearing his Santa hat!

Here he is preparing himself for his big debut at church in the Sunday School Christmas program. The theme was "Star of Wonder" but Tyler didn't stay on stage long enough to sing his song. He hit the floor running on the first note!

Brynn is also trying to get into the Christmas spirit with a new dress that Aunt Beth bought her!

I couldn't resist taking this picture......
or this one.....she is realizing her thumb isn't so bad!

A visit with Santa

Last weekend Tyler was very excited when we told him that Santa Claus was in town and we could go visit him. We got all decked up in our Christmas clothes in hopes to take the perfect picture!! Brynn thought Santa was very snuggly.....Tyler on the other hand stood about as far away from him as possible once we got inside the room with him.

So Kyle tried to fake him out by distracting him with the tree in hopes to then place him on Santa's lap.Once Kyle sat him down he made a mad dash in the other direction

So he finally agreed to have daddy hold him but we were still hoping for a picture of just Tyler and Brynn with Santa

This time Santa tried to bribe Ty with M&M's and as you can tell it didn't work!
Finally after almost 15 minutes (thank goodness we were the only ones there this entire time!) we decided enough was enough. This was the best we could do. Ty agreed to stand on daddy's leg and if you look closely you can see the back of Kyle's head and his shoe! Brynn was such a good girl and never made a peep the entire time! Then just as I put the camera away Ty decided Santa might not be so bad after all. I quickly got the camera back out just in time to capture Ty giving Santa the pound. So when Santa asked Ty if he had been a good little boy here was the smile he flashed.....I'll let you be the judge of that one!
Merry Christmas!!!

Where does the time go??

A few weeks ago Baker had their annual alumni scrimmage and Tyler decided that he might be able to help daddy's team out.......
Here he is passing the ball to his buddy JJ Dos Santos (JJ is one year younger than Ty but just as tall - but that is what you get when your dad is almost 7 feet tall!)
Slam dunk..... Coach Zerr said I need to work on my dribbling and stop showing off with all my dunks..... When Tyler decides to take a break from playing basketball he loves to hold his new baby sister! Brynn is 2 months old in this picture and as you can see is starting to really chunk up!!!Tyler's favorite days are when I am home from work and when Calvin and Oliver come over to play while Beth works.

Oliver is such a good sport and plays so well with Tyler....even when things get rough!!

Tyler and Calvin think that taking a nap together sounds like a good idea.....too bad no one actually went to sleep!
Brynn just sits on the couch and wonders...when are some girls coming over to play?A couple weeks ago the school sponsored a health fair and they had lots of fun games for the kids to play. Tyler is having fun tossing his bean bag trying to win a fun prize! The fire department was there teaching fire safety and Tyler got his very own fireman hat!
Big brother isn't the only one who likes to smile for the camera! We realized that the only family picture we had was when Brynn was born and I was still sitting in a hospital bed! We were long overdue for an update! Here we are on Thanksgiving day and Brynn is just one day shy of 3 months!

Ty having fun in the leaves

Tyler decided he would help daddy rake the leaves but found it out was more fun to just run and jump in the piles!! Here is a quck video of Ty having fun!

He did stop to pose for at least one picture

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween Tyler and Brynn joined in with their cousins to be zoo animals.

Brynn was a zebra.....

And Tyler was a penquin......Tyler had been practicing for weeks on the perfect "trick or treat"! He wasn't crazy about wearing his penquin head but when we said he got candy when he wore it suddenly it wasn't so bad!
Here we are with Uncle Russ the zoo keeper, Jackson the gorilla, Oliver the tiger, Ella the giraffe, Sydney the monkey and Calvin the lion. They all looked pretty cute!

Tyler just kept asking.....can I take this off?
Please can I take this off??

The last few weeks.....

Here are a few photos from the last few weeks.....

Enjoying an afternoon at the pumpkin patch Tyler couldn't wait to find the perfect pumpkin to bring home!

This one should do!

We also enjoyed a visit to Baldwin for the Mapleleaf festival. Tyler was sooo excited because they had train rides so we all took a relaxing ride!

Tyler found a tractor he wanted to bring home!

Brynn has been growing by leaps and bounds! Here she is trying to smile for the camera!
Tyler thought he would show her how it is done!

Brynn's Baptism

On September 28th Brynn Marie joined God's family through her baptism. We are so thankful that our families were there to help celebrate this very special occasion.
The gown that Brynn is wearing was made for her great-grandpa Kronsbein 88 years ago for his baptism and through the years there have been many from the Kronsbein family to wear this gown including my dad, myself and Tyler. It is hard to see in the picture but this gown is in great shape for being 88 years old....

Brynn is blessed to have Uncle Russ and Aunt Beth as her godparents.

They gave her a beautiful baptism bracelet with a cross and her name on it.

Tyler was of course very excited about Brynn's big day.....but even more excited because he got a new bell for his tricycle! Thanks grandpa and grandma K!!

After church we had everyone over for lunch and by late afternoon Tyler and Brynn were both exhausted and ready to crash......Tyler couldn't even make it to his bed

and Brynn found her favorite place to rest.....on daddy's chest.
