The last few weeks.....

Here are a few photos from the last few weeks.....

Enjoying an afternoon at the pumpkin patch Tyler couldn't wait to find the perfect pumpkin to bring home!

This one should do!

We also enjoyed a visit to Baldwin for the Mapleleaf festival. Tyler was sooo excited because they had train rides so we all took a relaxing ride!

Tyler found a tractor he wanted to bring home!

Brynn has been growing by leaps and bounds! Here she is trying to smile for the camera!
Tyler thought he would show her how it is done!

Brynn's Baptism

On September 28th Brynn Marie joined God's family through her baptism. We are so thankful that our families were there to help celebrate this very special occasion.
The gown that Brynn is wearing was made for her great-grandpa Kronsbein 88 years ago for his baptism and through the years there have been many from the Kronsbein family to wear this gown including my dad, myself and Tyler. It is hard to see in the picture but this gown is in great shape for being 88 years old....

Brynn is blessed to have Uncle Russ and Aunt Beth as her godparents.

They gave her a beautiful baptism bracelet with a cross and her name on it.

Tyler was of course very excited about Brynn's big day.....but even more excited because he got a new bell for his tricycle! Thanks grandpa and grandma K!!

After church we had everyone over for lunch and by late afternoon Tyler and Brynn were both exhausted and ready to crash......Tyler couldn't even make it to his bed

and Brynn found her favorite place to rest.....on daddy's chest.

Brynn Marie

Here we are the night before our little one enters our world. Kyle thought his basketball would be smaller than my "basketball"......until he saw the picture

Here we are minutes away from finally finding out will it be a boy or a girl......

It's a girl!!!
We are so excited to introduce Brynn Marie to everyone!! She weighed 8 lb 1 oz and was 19.5 inches.

Tyler is so excited to have a baby of his own!!
Daddy's little girl...........

Tyler is such a proud big brother!Pretty in pink!!!
Tyler thinks that Brynn's hat is pretty cool......
Here is Brynn coming home in the same outfit that I wore home from the hospital 32 years ago!
Brynn and I were both born on Labor Day weekend!

Once we got home Tyler just couldn't give his little sis enough kisses.
Tyler is so happy to be a big brother!!
Tyler looks SO big next to baby Brynn! Brynn has been such a blessing and a wonderful addition to our family.

The Deterding family

With the upcoming arrival of the newest Deterding we decided to set up this website to provide our friends and family with updates and pictures of our growing family. We hope you enjoy and would love to hear from everyone!

We have been very busy these past few weeks......first with Laura and Jon's wedding and then a weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks with the entire Deterding family! The wedding was beautiful and Tyler loved wearing his tux! We also found out he is a dancing machine! At the lake Kyle and Tyler enjoyed the water while Sara tried to stay cool inside the enourmous air-conditioned cabin which we shared with about 50 aunts, uncles and cousins!! What a fun weekend!

We had such a good time at Laura and Jon's wedding!!

Tyler thought he was pretty cool in his tux. Especially since daddy, papa and Jon were all wearing the same thing!

Doesn't Laura look beautiful!

Don't both these boys look handsome!!

I am running out of room to hold Ty!

Tyler sure loved the reception!

Mama Cheryl even came to dance!

He loves his uncle Jon and aunt Laura!!

I think he could have danced all night!!

The happy couple!!

Mama Sandy and Papa Jim had a good time dancing as well.....

Finally around midnight someone started to get a little tired......

Now onto the lake.............

Tyler loves the water and thinks he is pretty cool in his lifejacket!

Tyler and Calvin went tubing.......what fun!

Papa Kermit even let him drive the boat!!

The most exciting thing about the weekend was Tyler learning to "swim" on his own!!

It was much cooler inside the cabin!!

What a fun weekend!
